Hi there! I’m Elia, a Security Research Intern at NEC Laboratories Europe, based in Heidelberg, Germany.
At NEC Laboratories Europe, I research and develop generative and agentic AI systems for cyber threat intelligence and security automation. My current work includes benchmarking agent memory layers and token efficiency across model variants, and designing workflows that verify, filter, and enrich threat-intelligence data.
My interests lie at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, from applying generative and agentic AI to threat intelligence and security analysis to improving the reliability and safety of the systems that make those capabilities possible.
I am completing a master’s degree in Cybersecurity Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, following a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at Università degli Studi di Firenze.
